Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati 128th Annual Juried Exhibition

The Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati128th Annual Juried Exhibition took place in the Main Gallery at The Barn | Woman’s Art Club Cultural Center in Mariemont, Ohio from April 6th thrugh April 25th, 2021. Seventeen awards were presented at the opening reception on April 11th.

The exhibition was selected by Jeanne McLeish, focusing on craftsmanship, color, and composition with an emphasis upon diversity in style and subject. From the 258 submissions by 145 artists, she selected 58 works for this exhibition. McLeish’s award-winning artwork in watercolor and in oil has been included in numerous exhibitions and can be found in many private and public collections. She served as the National Park Service’s artist in residence at the Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore Park and residency in Shades State Park which was sponsored by the DNR and the Indiana Arts Commission in celebration of the Bicentennial.

Diana Young judged the exhibition. She is an award-winning artist whose works have been shown in numerous galleries and been recognized in various shows and plein air competitions — among them, Painters of America, American Impressionist Show, and Salon International Show. In addition to painting, she been an instructor at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and has worked in commercial art and illustration.
